I have seen this bottle before, it is pretty scarce. The "N York" is an early abbreviation for New York, as you may have guessed. "N.Y." came on the scene quickly, why you see this on a few bottles. You will see the "N. York" on much early stoneware from NYC, such as Crolius, Remmy, Morgan.

I was hoping to narrow down the bottle a little, but if it is rare enough that knowone nows much more about it I guess that's a good thing...
and yes it is an IP soda.

Super nice soda! Yeah, "The M" has been good for all of us over the decades.
