I have a bottle that was found in Ottawa Ontario.

The bottle looks to be a soda bottle pre 1900 by the look of it but I am not really sure.

Has anybody ever seen a bottle like this or may have one. I am trying to date it.

Thanks.

I have found over 50 bottles.

Whisky, soda, medicine, beer, wine, sauces, Welches juniors and milk.

I am just starting to clean them and inventory them.

Looks like mostly from Ottawa area, some from Montreal, Winnipeg. Some very cool ones.

The best one so far is a Brown Milk bottle, Ottawa diary, I think around 1900 - 1929 sometime. Very nice shape.

"Vin Phosphate Au Quinouina" French wine bottle.

Man I have a lot of research to do...

Blob top, no bottle cap, used different wire bails and stoppers with washers to keep the bottle sealed...

Thanks for the examples. This bottle is a blob top. The seem runs up the side but stops at the neck. I think that means per 1900, at least that is what Ihave read.
