Howdy,

I found another bottle I was having trouble identifying. It has no marks on it with names or numbers or anything like that. But it looks to me like it had a piece of advertising on it, and some one might recognize it. At least that's what I'm hoping! Because I'm lost as to where to start searching for.

Hello John,

Welcome to the Blue Pages, and thanks for bringing the bottle. With nothing for scale, I wanna ask it's size or capacity.

Has kind of a saucey look to my eyes...

Is there any back story involved?

Heya =)

It's 6 3/4" tall and holds 300 mL or about 10oz of whatever lol. There's no back story, came out of a box in the attic!

Optivo I'm assuming you and the bottle are not in the USA? If not where might you be with this nice piece of glass?

To my blind eye it looks like it could be a water bottle like the sparklettes or other such table water style. The color and the paneled shape suggests that possibility, though it appears older than most I have seen. I suspect an inner rim to accomodate a glass stopper which would have been an essential part. Look around to see if there is one overlooked in the attic as often these can have an identifying clue. Otherwise I agree as to a sauce or food of some such. Just leaning a little towards the water idea......but just that, an idea. Jack
