seems to have a medal tube coming out the bottom also sticking out the inside.bottle is broke but just curious

the tube goes though the bottom,has red like dirt and particles around tube on outside

Part of a fuel filter bowl from a tractor or old engine,I think.The tube at the bottom would be used to drain off water.How big is this piece?

its the bottom of a ale bottle that i dug with a few more.the bottom has a b and a number.just curious about the tube like thing on bottom,some pics of other bottle bottoms thanks for any info

I don't think it's the bottom of an ale bottle, I also don't think it's a fuel filter glass, they were almost always clear so you could see inside them. Is it the same diameter as the ales?

It this the same bottle? It looks different. If you post the whole thing it would help. Until then I'd say part of a lamp and the cord ran through it.

the issue i have with the fuel bowl idea is.....why would their be a kickup? any i have ever seen are bowl shaped for the sediment to fall to the bottom allowing for drainage along with the water, hence, fuel bowl. the amount of wear on the base of that glass tells me their is no way its a fuel bowl.

considering it is the same size, shape, and color as the other bottles you were digging its obviously a bottle in my opinion. wheres red matthews?

it's a black glass 3piece bim with applied lip from my research and info from ya'll.i dug about 40 with different bases.have some with the kick up on bottom like the one thats broke.where i found them they have been buried too long to have been made into a lamp i think
