I do not think that anyone else saw this floating on the bay under dinnerware- stoneware. Anyhow, when it got here I first learned that it was not the size of a small ginger beer as I expected. The quart jar is shown to give a size comparison. The D is not east to make out but the company was in Boston in the early 1850's.

Nice find George, I'd be happy to add one for that price if it were from Paterson. I see one other bidder also saw it along with 39 other people who looked at it and didn't bid so I'd say it's a good pickup either way...
