But figured I'd attach a photo in the appropriate category. Does anyone know anything about the rarity or history of this brand/particular pot lid? Man is it ever a cool one either way!
The full marking is as follows:
"WILLIAMS' / SWISS / VIOLET / Shaving Cream / PREPARED BY / The J.B.Williams Co. / MANUFACTURING CHEMISTS / GLASTONBURY, CONN. / Proprietors of / GENUINE YANKEE SHAVING SOAP"
The lid is about 3 1/2" in diametre.
