Hey Renee, Jim, Jay & Gordon,

Thanks for the good wishes. I think some celebration is in order nearly every day.

I was doing a little celebrating yesterday. I got to quaff my first Cheerwine.

My baby daughter has a new admirer from North Carolina who sent her a box of local goodies, including a Cheerwine for me. This kid knows how to suck up to the old bottle guy in the family, I'll give him that.

Pretty tasty beverage, that Cheerwine. You;d think though, with the death of Hostess & all, he woulda included some Cheerwine Cake, but, No-o-o-o-o-o!

Cheerwine cake seems just the ticket for a successful Evolutonary Celebration, don'tcha think?

Funny you should mention ye olde computer; same babydaughter sat on the macbook and cracked the screen. I'b dealing with limited visibility for the nonce...

Now, Aquavit & gravlax is suddenly jumping to the top of my list of celebratory hankerings. Probably a good thing I don't have a bottle in the freezer...
