Met up with Fred and Tom to dig a few test holes at a downtown lot that had become available..(Tom got us a permission from the new owner) ...A lot of different buildings had graced this area so we weren't surprised to find.......Not much! [:D] [>:] Here's Fred pointing at not sure what,...He was talking to Tom while I snapped this.

We dug it down but things didn't look real promising, so we went to a nearby city lot where appliedlips (Doug) and I had crawled under an old row house to look for glass last summer...It was flooded! Looked like the roof drains had filled the old backyard with about a foot of water...So much for that spot. Fred had some chores to do so Tom and I jumped in his truck to go look for a dig site...We settled reluctantly on a nearby town dump that has been long dug out....and dug hard.

We dug around the lower dump for awhile, and Tom was making sounds like he thought he might head home too, but I asked him to hike up to the upper dump just for the fun of it...We've found a few there, once in awhile...It's dug out too, but not to the same degree....

Once again, Tom proved that there WAS still bottles to be found there...I settled in a lower spot that seemed undug, and Tom started digging back under a bank that the creek had undercut... Please pardon my aging camera's lack of sharp focus...This was a druggist from Sarycuse NY?? Maybe Tom will come on and clarify the embossing for us...

It was a lucky day for Tom because he then dug what he collects...Local druggist! This picture appeared focused when t took, but when I downloaded it, it was NOT focused...[:D] "Geo. C. Fagnan, Druggist, Bradford Pa" ...This guy was also Mayor of Bradford once upon a time... Tom probably could provide a bit more info.
