Honestly, I was one of the bidders on that book and was amazed to see it jump from 39.00 over 100 in the last 3 seconds. Would love to have a copy in my library, but not at 100 bucks, I'd rather spend the hundred on a good bottle ( or a couple ).
Seems prices on the unusual stuff is climbing again - maybe all of us have our fill of common(er) stuff and are now only hunting the better pieces, therefor making more competition ?
If prices get too crazy I'll sell - been thinking of thinning out anyways as I don't have the room - maybe just collect crowns .
Wish I could afford to buy more, some semi-commons on the bay I'd buy but when shipping doubles the prices... ouch...
About a week and a half ago I sold 2 mountain dew named bottles for $112.00. I'm a little mad at myself for setting the buy-it-now so low. Wasn't listed for but a few hours and it sold right away...
That's the last time I mix xanax with listing bottles on ebay...
I have one new/old stock 2002 third edition acl book left that I will sell to the highest offer of $50.00 or more. It's the last one I have and not sure I will be getting any more in the future. I buy them from Rick Sweeney personally but I need to purchase a case of ten each time. If interested please send me your best offer through a PM. I include free shipping and prompt delivery.
I did have some signed books before but not this one. It is new and has never been used. I have already received three offers of $50.00 and invite anyone interested to increase the offer. If it doesn't go over $50.00 then the first member who bid that amount gets it. I will let it ride until Monday.
Just bought one from Amazon for half the price, but I am glad you got as much as you did for it. I figured with my last pick the book is already payed for. I wonder how many good ACL's I passed on just cause I thought they were worthless. I do however collect the Delaware ones which I rarely pay over $10 for.
