In an earlier post someone asked me to post a pic of my Royal jar and lid. I thought I would do it in a new post. I may have to reply to add the pic of the lid. I am wondering if this is the correct glass insert for this jar with the berries and leaves in #2513. I think the zinc band is #2514. I only paid $8 for this jar so it's all good either way.

Great buy for $8! No idea about the lid on this one. I wish I could find something like that for $8.

Yes, the screw band is 2514 and marked "Pat. June 9 63" on the collar. The insert is for 2513. It is fine on your jar, but correct on is a plain insert. A very nice find, congrats!

Thanks, I've had it for years actually. But I bought it at an auction, an estate or business closing I believe. It was with other jars and the auctioneer actually teased me about paying so much for one jar... lol
