Hello all,
I come to you with a hard question. I have been searching for about a year for information about George A Potter. I have had two of his bottles....one blob top Pony embossed G.A.P. and a stoneware embossed G A Potter. I have found some information that he was from Norwich but his bottles have been associated with New London CT. So I come to you oh "fact finders". Can anyone find some information?
I found this in the New London archives (vital records)
Martha J., of New London, m. George A. POTTER of Norwich, Oct. 28, 1848, by Rev. Thomas J. Greenwood
Here is a picture of the stoneware bottle. Prob dates to the 1860 -1870's. So very much appreciated.
