Greetings,
Mike in AZ here, found this bottle in Cherry AZ at an old Wells Fargo Stage Stop privy. Been trying to figure out what it was used for but i cant seem to find another example of it. Any info someone has is appreciated. It has a smooth sand pontil on bottom and a really unusual applied spout to the side, turning purple.

Sorry, finally got the bottle pic to load! It measures 10" tall x 5-1/2" round, the top opening is 2" and spout is 1"

Welcome to the forum, I have no idea what that is but I'm thinking a lab or hospital bottle... Hopefully someone will know for sure....Jim

Well I think it was for laboratory work. I have four Wolf bottles and they have two and three applied necks, This lower spout looks like the ones on mine. There were ceramic jugs with a lower spicket for tapping out water - so that is also a possibility.
