Bored figured I would post a couple of my favorites. I was wondering if anyone has seen the oval blacking with a label still intact?

Great collection of very early glass Travis, the mug looks great again!! Thanks for sharing. Maybe in the Corning museum they have an area dedicated to labeled bottles you could check with them in regards to the oval blackening bottle. In this picture I took a couple of years ago they did have this one in the labeled bottles display area.

Great picture Steve and thank you on the compliment. I love blacking bottles and the oval style is a little tougher to find. I was trying to find a labeled oval form to see if it was used by A.A Cooley. These bottles were probably used by all kinds of different companies though, and thanks for the info. Will you be at Baltimore next Sunday?
