Looks like a master ink, it would have been used to fill smaller desktop ink bottles

Hello;

Can you post a close-up picture of the potter's stamp at the base of the bottle? might help date it. These inks were made, usually in Britain , up to the 1930s.

George Skey 1860 is to 1936. I suspect the later part. Thy this.
