Meaning of etched v. printed trademark?

I am a digger and collector and currently cataloging my father's collection. While looking through a box of cobalts (mostly plain cobalts and Bromos) I found one cobalt where the neck and top are a little misshapen and the trademark is hand-etched instead of the normal looking trademarks. Does this mean something re: date or value? TIA.

I'm sorry, but your photos don't seem to be focused, and they're awfully small. Perhaps larger, macro photos might help to tell the tale. Natural light is best for photographing bottles, it seems.

Is that an Owens mark above the "ALA"?

When you say "printed," do you mean embossed?

I will take a better picture, I don't think that's a mark above but I will double-check. What I was really asking is most bottle trademarks seem neatly "stamped" on but this one seems like it was done by hand and not as neat as usual. Thanks.

I thought I saw "by", very strange indeed.
Anyway, welcome and where do you hail from, the top looks a bit UK to me. Some larger more in focus pictures would be helpful for sure.
