I just came across this It's been sitting on my dresser for years full of old marbles. The embossing is so light I didn't realize it was there. Theres three dots on the front and rear shoulders I've had no luck trying to find anything about it but somebody out there in "Google Land" has one and said its not listed in redbook. As usual thanks for any help....DD

Red Book lists a pint aqua with 3 dots beneath Leotric. In my short career dots usually dont mean a row of beans. The marbles are probably worth more than the jar.
You must post a picture of the entire jar and state the size. I see other jars in the back , a good idea is to post a picture and description of those also , lets us all c whatz u got !! [;)]

My bad,It's a quart w/ ground lip. Somebody thought the dots were importaint They didn't get the 99.99 they were asking The other ones in the window came from that "wasn't a well" place I found. My mind is in that hole I realy should go back if it would quit snowing. Love tha old canner, couple "58.00 Duffys",nice eagle needs a top, food jar,S&R Mason,1/2 gal. gem and a green thing. Found two more green things thats been a lot of fun to research. Finding clues is fun, finding the answers (....) Thanks again, DD

Yes DD I followed your post where you thought u found a root cellar that was flooded and where there were bottles galore. That is every bottle diggers dream to find something like that. All are anxious for you to get back to it and post more pictures. I am not sure about the Duffys but they are sure purdy in the window. The Gem looks to be a half gallon , check and see if there is anything written on the bottom. It also looks to have a grounded top. My guess-ta-mitt it is worth about $20.00
Your best jar in my books is the EAGLE! It is worth more if you find the glass lid and Iron yoke clamp. Perhaps when u pump that place out and go over everything with a fine tooth comb you mite find it. I will PM you the book value.
Hopefully others will offer impressions on the other bottles / jars you found.
Thanks for posting ..
