I am still a newbie that needs to learn more. Here is a lot of 15 Wheaton bottles I located for sale. What should I look for and ask the seller about. I've looked thru the post on the museum and the pics are great. Any info will be appreciated. They are asking 50$

The only two that are collectible at this time are the two coffin shaped poisons, offer them $5 each and you'll do well with them on Ebay. The rest are for little old ladies who think they look cute in a window or curio cabinet....

That is $49.00 too much in my opinion. They were made as trinkets and not real bottles. They do resemble some old, larger bottles in shape but for me this kind of nonsense detracts from the real deal even though they could never be mistaken by anyone who knows anything about real bottles. If you like them they can be purchased one at a time for much less.

Nice set not worth that much for sure,as a re-sell you might get 30.00 out of them,
they do sell and are cute but like Epackage said better to get them one or two at a time for much much cheaper than that :)

After thinking about it, the asking price is just over $3.00 each which probably isn't too bad but I still wouldn't give a buck for the whole bunch even if I could make money on them. I just don't like that stuff that is made strictly for a collector. Anything that is made just for that purpose leaves me COLD. I realize others like them and that is fine. I guess I should shut up and keep my opinion to myself. Well, maybe, next time.[8D]

O.K., O.K., O.K., Color me STUPID ! [][&:][] What do I know? [:D] Obviously not much. I still don't like them but might be tempted to compromise my priciples for that much money. Naw, I'm not that greedy. Then again,,,,,,,,,,

They just emailed me back and stated they think they are from the late 1800s to early 1900s. I will ask if they can send me pics of the bottoms of some of them.
