I bought another collection of old bottles, jars, milks and inks for dirt cheap. In the collection were these two which I can't find any info on or an image of anywhere on the net. The flask bottom has a large circular sharp edge and a screw aluminun/tin/zinc (?) top. The glass barrel has two openings were I placed corks but no name, letters or numbers. It stands on its own on its side. I'll probably part with the flask but the barrel is just too cool and heavy. Appreciate any info or input you might offer. You guys and gals are great!

The barrel most likely held wine and had a paper or painted label, the flask is a brandy or similar booze and both are fairly new. The barrel is collectible because of it's form but has little value, the flask is a bottle that belongs in a recycling bin...

I agree with Jim but wouldn't mind more info. How big are they? Is the top magnetic? Details really can help.
Either way keep the cap, they're usually the hardest to find and the corks can also be reused to at least keep dust out of other finds you definitely want to keep.
