that Wistar piece could easily be a museum piece. what a great example
of early glass. the crudeness of the top is what keeps me seeking....

Thanks for the kind comments. Yes this Wistar octagonal is a favourite of mine, but ah, I have to feed the family and like so many of my items, museum quality or not, it all just goes into my stock eventually to be sold.
But at least I can enjoy these things for a while, and, it does give me the chance to enjoy even more beautiful things than I would otherwise allow myself to buy, knowing that their cost will eventually be recuperated.
