Often referred to a bulbous neck, and I agree with scotch as likely ingredient or possibly brandy, and I would agree with the date on the tag, possibly to turn of century if foreign. No seal or embossing, they have minimal collectability and usually sell for $10 or less as window dressing. Jack
Nothing specific really. The two that were posted are close enough but I'd lead toward the second one. As for a reason, none that I know of except maybe eye appeal.
That is definitely NOT a Ladies Leg, I believe it is properly known as a "Bulge Neck". (At least that is what I have called them for 45 + years) Ladies Leg bottles have a neck as long, or at least almost as long, as the body. Of course, a case could be made that "Ladies" come in all shapes and sizes. [8D][8|]
Definitely a small "ladies leg neck" at least that is what i have been calling them over 39 years![][][] What does JIM know about ladies?[][][][] What does he think the "bulge" is? Unless of course it is POPEYE'S GAL "OLIVE OYL" who has no "BULGE" in her leg or any where else!
