Got out early this morning to the dump...it was a bit muddy but I did manage a few good ones including the mega-rare RETENTIVE fruit jar. I have to be honest, I never thought I would dig one of these, especially from the old and dug up city dump. I dug like hell to find the lid but no luck[]

This is among my best digs...A great find for sure.

Wow! That's a great jar. It looks small in the pic, is it pint sized? Did this jar, along with the Electric & salesman sample Lightning all come from the same dump? Glass lids for the Retentive jar have been dug at the site of the Lyndeboro Glass Company in New Jersey. Hope you pull more top shelf jars out of that dump. [:)]

ORIGINAL: Fruit Jars

Great find. Let me know if you decide to sell it. Is it a quart?

Fruit Jars

It will be for sale as soon as I clean it. Yes, it is a quart.
