Cincinnati/St Joe embossed/pictured hock wine

Don't have a photo (info came in on the phone).

Tall amber Hock wine. Embossed with a picture of a Top.
RED TOP WESTHEIMER & SONS CINCINNATI OHIO & ST JOSEPH MO

Any idea on scarcity/value?

I am also trying to track down a fella (I think his name is Tom) who was a digger/Hock Wine collector, lives in the Cincinnati area.

Believe it is a rye bottle and fairly common, though there is a scarcer sample, both usually embossed Red Top Rye...Jack

I like the Red Top brands , the top logo is great . I have a Red Top cone top beer can . Another member on here that used to live close to me had some die cut Red Top beer signs a few years back . Would have loved to have had one of them if they had not been so rough . Nice size signs as for displaying .

Thanks for the replies and info.

The company matches, yes. This is NOT a Rye bottle, though, it is a 12" tall hock wine. So, they obviously put out wine, as well as rye whiskey.
Hmmm.

If you think back like me, an embossed hock wine is a rarity. Amber makes it even better. My buddy went back to get this today, a month after he saw it in a little antique store basement. He got a good deal, I think. I told him I would put it on fleabay for him.
