About two weeks ago while setting a trail camera I found this little pottery bottle down by a spring head that had been cleaned out. The spring is about 75 yards from a old house place. The graves on the hill near by date back to the early 1800's. I spent the afternoon trying to find a privy or trash dump from the house. I didn't have much luck. All I found was a few shards from a china plate and 1 bottle. It was a Dr. Munn's Elixir of Opium. At least I wasn't skunked. I did not have that bottle so I got something new. I am going to try alittle metal detecting when it gets cold weather . There is bound to be more somewhere!
