Came home from meeting a friend at the flea market and grabbing a few bottles earlier today, decided to do a little eBaying when I got home because you never know when something will be listed, much to my delight there was a David Boyle 1909(single digit 9) quart hutch listed. Boyle dated all his bottles, and until today the 1909 quart had gone unlisted on hutchbook.com and had never been seen by the Paterson GURU and ULTRA GURU.

This makes 165 Paterson hutches, with this being the 54th quart, a great day indeed...

Better pics when it arrives.

Another Paterson milestone marked, Jim.

Congratulations! 54 is a much better number than 53.

Are you going in search of more mantles?

Dang, I don't think I have 54 old bottles from Kansas City, let alone 54 of one size! Pickin's is slim out here, I'm glad you live in the joyous heart of old bottle land. And I think the giant stoneware jug I saw from Patterson, NJ this August was in Wooster, not Mansfield, Ohio.

Keep growing the glass.

Yeah that's me, I'm a hoarder... I don't spend anytime researching the bottlers/brewers/liquor dealers, their company and personal histories, and I don't have an old 1800's map with thier locations marked on them. Maybe I should just let the bottles sit on eBay, or better yet let people toss them in the recycling bin so they're lost forever???[8|]
