I was recently given twenty-one Mom's brand canning jars. The person that gave them to me said that they might be worth something. I've looked online for more information and can't seem to find much. Seventeen of the jars have the same stamp on the bottom and are clear. Four of them appear to have a light blue tint and have a different stamp on the bottom than the other seventeen. I'm wondering what these jars would sell for individually or as a collection? Also, are the four different jars actually considered blue and are they worth more than the others? I appreciate your input!

That stippled outside edge makes me think they are newer jars, good luck when the experts chime in...

Well Kimberly, I think the jars are fairly new. You didn't even spell out the embossing on the shoulder. The bottoms have a set of multiple round dots. These were pressed into the iron or brass bottom plate with a knurling wheel held against the bottom formed curvature. The finish has a single lead thread and I think I am seeing the transfer bead, so I have to assume there are two vertical seams on the finish. There is even lettering showing on the bottom pictured - but you didn't show it. I think I can read
"/ COLUMBUS " on there. RED Matthews

These are fairly new as in 1975 area and are listed in the red book as # 2198. The pint aqua ones are shown as 2-3 bucks and the clear pints and quarts as less than -1. The base should read "Home Products Columbus Ohio" These I've seen sell pretty well around mothers day.
