] that bottle was the early type, from 1850-1860 but not pontil though. I like to see those pinch half leaf forms on early bottles. I have a few of them and thought they were a repair form mold repair. I finally found one that confirmed the actual pick up of the pinch of glass in the parison transfer to the final blow mold. That pinch had to fall free in the re-closing of the mold and the final blow of the bottle picked up he pinch of glass. Neat bottlemysteries for my homepage. RED Matthews
