was in eastern Ontario a couple weeks ago and visited a few antique stores in the town of Almonte which is just outside of Ottawa and for a small town actually has 4 antique stores and one had a number of bottles , only bought 2 but saw some others that were neat .the 2 bottles were from Cornwall Bottling works - Cornwall Ontario and J.B Ives Belleville Ontario , likely both from 30's-40's era . the Belleville bottle is listed as being from 1931-1940

another picture of the Belleville bottle , was hoping to find some neat bottles from city of Ottawa but didn't on that trip maybe next time . the antique store seemed to have lots of bottles from Perth / Kingston areas as well is some from other areas of Ontario that were far away and seemed odd to have them there

pretty sure there wouldn't be a green version on the octagon bottle

but most bottlers did have a 7 oz green bottle of some sort , so they could of used a small green bottle for ginger ale . but not that familiar with bottles from Belleville to know for sure whats out there

not sure if I've seen your quart before , seen bottles in that style . JB Ives was a fairly large bottler in that area so would of used a few different bottles over time
