I picked this pair of decanters up at a local flea market last year, and I`d like to find out who made them, if possible. I know that is asking a lot with this early glass, but someone here may know the pattern or something else about them that may ring a bell. I doubt that the stoppers belong to them, but they fit. The bodies of these look to be possibly pressed, or blown into a mold. From the shoulders up they are hand formed with applied rings at the bases of the necks and formed lips. The shoulders and necks carry the form of the paneling on the body right up to the top of the lip. I lust noticed that one is a little fatter than the other, but the patterns are the same and both are 11" tall to the top of the lips. Any info or help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated!
