Not sure why, they aren't for sale or trade. I guess if someone had a variant I'm missing I'd be interested in buying/trading...there is chatter about site being "dead lately". I just tried to generate something new to get me and maybe someone else to take some pics. Also, this is just one neighborhood druggist. Allegheny had dozens that used embossed bottles. Most individual druggists are different only in size of bottle, the embossing is usually the same in regard to design/layout. Also, don't know if any others are in aqua and clear. Also, can't recall many that changed designs of logo(in this case, removing a monogram and adding a wreath). Adding a Citrate is icing to the mix. There SHOULD be a couple more that I don't have. I can only dream that there may be one of each size in color.

Thanks for posting the bottle . I never had a great interest in apothecary bottles but I always enjoy seeing different ones when someone posts them . I have a large box of them that I dug back in the seventies that have been drawing dust for years . Yes , I like them but have no room to display them anywhere . Thanks again for the post .

Three from the Theodore Campbell Apothecary in the west Philadelphia area of Overbrook. I dug two clear ones in the early 80's in a local dump and Mr. Campbell's daughter gave my mom a nice blue one about the same time. Scott

The author requested pictures of druggist bottles, for sale or not. I just thought that area would be a better place for your post. In my opinion is that druggist bottle post is in the wrong forum, perhaps ' new to the collection' would be a better place. Or maybe Administration can open up a new category for medicines. I stumbled upon it by accident, glad I did because I posted a few scarce local meds there. Nice collection you have there LTLBTL, it is always nice to have local embossed bottles.

The J.J. Schott bottles from Galveston, Texas. He started in 1867 and ran though at least the 1920's. I've seen at least 40 variations in these bottles and there has got to be more that I have not seen...very prolific druggist. Will try to rustle up a photo of a grouping of these.

Does it count when the druggist keeps going into business with other local druggists? I have three if that counts. I love druggist bottles especially with fancy monograms or motifs. They are very personal and charming IMO.

I cleaned up a Fraser variant today that I found the other day. Most of the time they're just good for back fill but I hadn't seen a black one before. You can't see the sun through it so I went redneck and duct taped a spotlight looking for color. Ta Da, Tomorrow I'm going to look for the stopper, Don
