I found this bottle 40 years ago and forgot I had it... any help identifying it? It was dug in a dump.there are 3 pics...Top/lip & Bottom show seam on bottom at edge but does not continue across bottom.. is this a hinge mold even though it doesn't continue across the bottom?Side 1 - w logoSide 2 - shows and outline on the bottle where possibly a paper label was. The outline is very rough and uneven thanx everyone.

The key is the logo. I can make out S I V C and Co. The S and the I, because they are more prominent are probably the owners name. A guess, not even grabbing to far, would be Cider Vinegar Company. A search of old Philadelphia city directories may lead to an Igor Staponski Cider Vinegar Company.Sorry I can't be of more help. Interesting logo. Scott

thanx so much... makes perfect sense. I found it in a dump w a early Joseph Campbell bottle - same size and type.... The man who owned the house in the late 1800- early 1900's was a Dr who lived in Media, practiced in Phila and owned a farm in NJ

Wow! That's a nice bottle. Hard to believe you guys figured that out so quick. Any idea of the vintage of that bottle?
