I picked up a bottle on a hunch it might be a good one today. I got home, and can not find a match in any of my books, although none of them have a Veterinary Medicine section. I went online, and found a Trade Card, but nothing about a bottle that matches this. Matt's Book has several listings for Humphreys, but not this bottle. It is the same Humphreys' that has the Horse's Head on their Specific Bottle thats real commen. Here are a couple pictures. Its 3.75 tall, and 3.5 wide. Blown in mold with a square tooled lip. About 1.25" thick. Although I was able to find an image of a Trade card, I could'nt find anything on this bottle. It doesnt fit in my collection, so it will likely be going on Ebay, however, I am open to offers. also curious as to whether anyone has one, or has seen it.

When I said, offers accepted, I should have described condition. It is a dug bottle, with some over-all stain. Its got a couple shallow flakes on the side and top of the lip and some light scratches. Otherwise, no chips cracks or dings. a light tumble would make it sparkle. Funky shape and proportions to it too.

I wouldn't use the term unlisted myself but it's is interesting. It's better than "unknown" and "one of a kind" for sure. Maybe that's just me.It's a cool bottle, kind of reminds me of the Rubifoam for the Teeth but smaller. What are you thinking for a price anyway? Not that I'm offering, just curious cause I like it.

Thanks for the comments folks. Eric, It is an interesting form. I guess I called it unlisted, cause I have most bottle books, and after looking through most all of them, and online I found no listings for this varient. This was recently found in an 1800's house, just outside Saratoga Springs NY. I have decided to list it on Ebay this weekend, cause to put a price on an "unknown" Bottle is difficult. By listing it with no reserve, The Collectors can bid it to where they thinks its value is. It will start at 4.99, and as usuall with my Ebay Auctions, there will be no reserve. will try to post a link when its up.

I believe that is the smartest, fairest way unless, perhaps, one would want to offer it to a forum member who specializes in such things, which doesn't seem to be the case. Please let us know how it does as I can't follow it on eBay.BTW, I would offer more of my sales stock to fellow forum members but have had little luck except with trades which have been VERY successful. And thanks to all my trading partners here.
