Does it say Dr. Pepper around the heel? I can't see it well, but that's what I'm seeing.

yes it does ACL, it say's Dr Pepper BTC BO on the heel and 3 R * 7 on the base...

That's what I thought. I don't know anything other than that it's a nice bottle. I would think that Jay would know, but I think he's at a show. I'll send him a PM and he'll respond when he's able to get back online.

I do know something about that bottle. Had one exactly like it with no town on base, just 3R star. That means the bottle was made in Three Rivers but could have been filled and sold anywhere. I sold mine in near mint condition for $50 to a 3 Rivers collector. I also have one not marked 3R but has San Antonio Texas on the base.

It looks like tree bark, was it a Barqs product relation?

It has no relation to Barqs but the bottle is made to look like a log with tree bark and two logging chains around it. It was used as a flavor bottle for Dr Pepper bottlers. 1920s.

ROBDABOLINA - This bottle has a design patent: D69848.A more commonly seen version is the Jackson Beverages bottle which has a figure of Andrew Jackson waving and riding a horse in the bottle's 'window'.Three Rivers is an especially collectible bottle maker.
