its a holiday today , got day off and went for a bike ride , didn't really expect to find anything old but did find a couple pop bottles , a clear coca cola 6 oz with 1960 date on bottom was along the road , rain must of washed it out . and in some leaves along an embankment near the lake I found the green bottle , its from around 50's - 60's era , it traveled a long way as Orangeville Ontario is about 2 hours south of where it was found . its from a smaller company from Orangeville Ontario called " Walkers Beverages " - this bottle is likely for a ginger ale I would think . never found a bottle from this company before in this area . anyways its too bad its damaged and acl has faded from being outdoors so long

I haven't seen the clear one before , have seen another green one at an antique store before , not a super common bottle but not rare . just found it far away from where it would of actually been sold back then . anyways it always neat to find something I don't normally find then I get to learn more about the bottle and company that made it .

went for another bike ride , there also digging the road I live on as they re-construct it and re-pave it , lots of digging , have been noticing a lot of bottles but 95% all junk beer or liquor bottles from last 40 years or so . did find 1 coca cola bottle the 6 oz white acl version . road is an older road and been in same location forever and very busy and lots of trees and plants to hide stuff . odd some areas is nothing and others lots of bottles . today went for another bike ride and came across some more bottles mostly junk liquor but , found a Nu grape bottle in some dirt , washed it off and its near mint condition , I already have one I bought a couple years ago but this one way nicer . oddly never found a nu grape bottle around here before . this one is likely from late 30's 40's era .

the bottle kinds keep coming ,not sure it I mentioned but I live on a very busy road , been main road from highway to lake since road existed , road is on same location as it existed 100 plus years ago so could be older bottles , went for another bike ride tonight and was just about eaten alive by bugs but did find one neat bottle . have found it once before in a dump so this is the second time I have found this bottle . a neat little local 7oz ginger ale bottle from 40's-50's era I'd say , from Brown's Beverages Gravenhurst Ontario . " muskoka dry " embossed on neck . would of had a paper label to cover middle of bottle . glass is also in great condition , happy to have found it before heavy equipment gets ready to really tear this road up .
