So Allegany Digger that flask looks like it was blown in a wooden mold. I think it is neat. The height of the mold seams. The picture does not quite verify the water pull from the wet wood.I have several spring water bottles amd would like to have that one with the neat sloppy applied finish. I would even swap a Chemung Spring Water with the big indian embossed on it, becaiuse I have several of them. RED Matthews

I agree with you on both counts. Probably just blown early in the day. Nice to find those later bottles with the crudity of much earlier pieces.

That's an odd one, like a hybrid. It looks like it's trying to be a strap sided from the base pic but more like a Union flask or similar from the string lip. I don't see a bottom hinge line at all or lip tooling marks which adds to the mystery.My guess is late 1860's to 70's but just from the pictures.
