These next five posts are what I got. I'll start with the NuGrape. Says in the star shape "NuGrape/ TRADE MARK REGISTERED." End star shape. "Soda/ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR & COLOR/ BOTTLE PAT'D APRIL 12 1932" Yes, it's lacking a comma between April 12 and 1932. The embossing isn't super strong, so that might be why. But, as a grammar issue, it actually bothers me. Same with after saying it's artificial. Other side says the same, save for at the end instead of a patent date it says "MINIMUM CONTENTS 8 FL. OZS./ 4" The bottom has a symbol above ''Dossin's/ 160/ DETROIT, MICH"

Next we have a lovely bottle also in clear (sadly) that has a badge containing most of it's embossing. "DETROIT/ BOTTLING/ WORKS/ 2685/ HENDRIE/ ST." is in the badge. On the back is "7 FLUID OZ./ REGISTERED" with ''1564'' on the left of Registered, and "EG22" on the right--date possibly for 1922? The base has a bade with ''D'' in the center. I picked it up because I'd never seen it before. I got the NuGrape because the one I have is missing the neck (but has stronger embossing than the NuGrape you see) --one of the first bottles I'd found.

Next is a nice tall bottle of Orange Crush. Stippled on the neck and first six horizontal rows, it then has normal rows and in the diamond on one side it says, "PAT'D/ JULY 20, 1920/ ORANGE-/ CRUSH CO/ BOTTLE" then on the other side it has a diamond saying, "O" then a dot centered between the next letter and the O like a dash, but looking like a period, "C/ BEVERAGES/ 7 FL. OZ." and has "29 S" on the base, but no city or maker.

Next is a dark teal "HEMINGRAY--42" insulator with "MADE IN U.S.A." on the back. It has a chip in it, but is a nice piece to have a light behind. I'd have bought one more, but they wouldn't come down on price--it was in green, more round, and older, but damaged.

And last for today, but not least (except in size) yet another 1930s clay marble to add to my collection! It's purple, so I picked it up. Looks odd, but I like it.

Anything anyone can tell me on the Detroit Bottling Works one, why the O.C. bottle has no city on it, and if I over-paid at 25 dollars for these?

Also, if it interests anyone, the marble is from a whole mess of them that I am told were found beneath a road that they tore-up a few years ago here. I have several others from the same place.
