Most likely something put out by the Fischer Chemical Importing Co. of NY. They a boatloads of products.They may have branded the TARS's of London by the same name as their own.

Hi Jack , actually it is believed to be John Fischer 308 Hampshire Street Quincy , Ill. It should have a W.T. Co. on the base too . I do not have one , but I have a friend that does . Keep me in mind for this Cure too , if you ever decide to sell it . Take Care . Ed Nikles

Thanks Ed, that figures......Found a Figgins Benzoin Lotion a few years ago and took me half of forever to discover it was also a Quincy Il. druggist specialty. I am embarrassed to not think of this, as I do have a couple Fischer pharmacy bottles as well as a Fischer & Schmitt from Quincy. Send me a pm offer on it as I am sure we can make a deal on this one. Hi Mark, a fellow stopped by my house with a bag of bottles and this was one of 3 locals I bought from him. The rest were junkers. So it goes......digging is slow lately. Dug a cistern on an 1850's lot yesterday but all toc, and mostly busted fifty centers! I think most of these corn remedies were pretty potent and I believe this was the regular/only size.
