Another deal for a person who buys and sells . I have for sale 12 antique metal cases of sample test milk bottles with the rubber plugs along with a number of testing vials that were used to test the amount of butter fat in the milk that would be hauled into the dairy from area farms . There are twenty four bottles in each case . There is one or two bottle missing from the cases I believe plus there is one empty case that also goes with it . There is also a milk crate full of the rubber plugs , if I remember right there are already rubber stoppers in all the bottles . . These bottles came from the Equity Dairy in Sardinia that has been out of business for a good many years now . I used to sell one bottle with one of the vials usually for eight dollars each at antique shows . Cheapest I ever sold a set for was six dollars and that has been some years back now . I would sell a single bottle by its self for three dollars . They are a nice go with to add to a collection of milk bottles or just to have as a remembrance of days gone by . There is not enough of the vials for every bottle . I never counted them but would say there are at least forty of the vials , most likely more . Again , I am fifty miles east of Cincinnati in case someone is viewing this posting thinks its convenient to come and take a look . I am asking two hundred dollars for the lot , seems it would be a good deal to me . Just want to move them out . Send me a PM if interested in coming and taking a look .
