I have several Ancient Age Gins. I accumulated them for a study of the bottle making methods demanded for to meet the growth of the gin demand. There were four or five demand volumes that made them really get with it. At one time I started a blog about them - but never got it completed. The evolution of changes to help meet the demand also got into capacity control to make sure the countries got the correct amount of tax for what they held. The greed for bucks policy for control. Wow - you made my day. To me a blog is a subject coverage to a relative subject that is needed to show those interested in early glass making in my case anyway. I have about a dozen of them in process of assembly - and when I get to a suitable coverage - get my brother to add them to my home page. I don't know where the term came from in my 85 years, but that is my explanation. I can understand your objective questioning. Thanks for asking.When I get to a Post office I will be picking up A MO - to send you for what you sent to me. I really am concerned for the situation you are in. It would kill me to have to check out of my life time hobby. It will be my daughters problem when I am gone. But the interest level I have is still strong and active. If you must than so be it but it was a gift and I can't think of a better person for it to have gone to.How was Thanksgiving? Mine was soooooo relaxing, got waited on hand to foot, literally. The sponge baths were awesome! The diet of pills and the blood drawing, not so great but overall it was very pleasant! I'm not saying I want to go back but the people were great![]Is that a silver lining?[]

Well I got two new books on the subject of glass bottles. One was "Seal;ed Bottles" by Roy Morgan. I don't have one, but I have some other seal glass pattied bottles. I didn't get any bottles this year, but got two last year - and when you think about having nearly 2,000 bottles - one doesn't need many more. It is nearly ridiculous, because they are bigger than coins. RED M.
