"MUSKEGON PILSENER BEER" on top, "ARCO" on side, cork-lined, foil over that. It said "Circa 1912" on the cases of the ones at the show with it-- a very common antique cap. Color is slightly faded doghouse blue background with an orangey-red set of words, and yellow-stained metal outlining MUSKEGON, then it's natural silver of the metal stained.

Bottom of cap. What I want to know is, when is it really from?
I removed it from the casing it came in.

Also, what history is there about Arco, which is shown on the side there?

Here it is, looking green at the gills, sitting on a circa 1905 bottle from the same company. It's home at last. Lol.

Re: Bottle Cap

I thought ARCO (Arco Crown Cork & Cap Co.) was trademarked around 1940 but that's just a memory, nothing written down.

Re: Bottle Cap

Eric, that is possible-- when were cork-lined caps last used in America? Does the fact that foil is on it help date it any?
Thanks for the info. :)
