Somebody on another forum I'm on posted these pics of this bottle and I wanted to bounce it off you guys here and see what you say. I think it's 1937 but don't know if it is a ghost ACL or label bottle. What say you? Thanks in advance.

no deposit no return bottles were mainly used from the mid 60's to the 70's. not sure what brand it may be but eric's idea sounds good.

As for the date, Owens Ill. used that logo after 1954. They didn't use stippling, the dots covering the bottom, in the 30s either.

Well after working in a modern mold shop, I am very familiar with knurled bottom plates, so I know it is to new to mater. I only collect and study glass that was blown with a blow pipe, and tooled with many different skilled bottle-makers that did a lot of unique things to make what they wanted to accomplish. I am working on a bottle number listing of eachof my bottles, so my daughter can sell them on eBay some day after I am gone. AT 85 one has to face reality. Tough to realize, but the facts of life. I have a lot of them to put in other peoples collections - someday - some way. RED M.
