Seeing that amber Trademark Lightning made me think of a lighter (honey?) amber Globe I have. From the front you see some small bubbles & crudity, but turn it just a bit and there's a big "eye" lookin' back at ya! That's what put it on my favorites list. -TammyPS - C'mon you guys let's see some more favorite jars [;)]

Well
Tammy, It would mean more to us if you spelled out the embossing and markings so we could possibly know what you have here. I don/t think I have ever seen a jar in that color - and I have been in glass collecting for77 yedars now RED Matthews

One of my favorite jars is one that I got when I first started collecting more seriously. Now I've got many more midget pints, but this one means the most to me. It's got lots of bubbles and a really nice lid (CFJCo). Mason's Patent Nov. 30th 1858 with reverse Hero's Cross.[attachment=Midget 1858 Front.jpg][attachment=Midget 1858 Top.jpg]

My favorite out of my collection is this ball standard with no standard. (left jar and should not exist ) and no there is no sign of a filled mold and it is an old version as it has a sides that are 90 degrees to the base not rounded like most you see.

Red Matthews: Jar is embossed "GLOBE" on the front and mold #70 on the base. Front embossing is the slightly smaller, narrower version. Pretty typical of Globe jar embossing I think.MNjars: Nice crude midget and super nice lid, and coreya: another good one, there's a lot of room to put "Standard" in there but they didn't - I can see why they're favorites
