Well it is a round bottom bottle; not really a torpedo bottle. They are more tapered to a smaller point. I now have a few of them on hand for studey and coverage this winter. Yours appears to be a blob top - applied glass finish, which is desirable on these older ones. RED Matthews

Thanks Red! You always seem to help me out on here. He is looking for 30 Canadian. With our lovely exchange rate. That puts it around 25usd.
I'm totally new when it comes to soda/mineral water bottles. Pretty much strictly an apothecary guy. But after holding a couple these in my hands I had to find a couple for my collection.
In fact I just grabbed a Ross Belfast bottle. I Know it's common. But it's a start

Well every one goes for different things. I have well over 2,000 glass items. Most of them are hand blown with a blow pipe. I have mainly stuck to this - but the concept drifts off, RED M.

Still no feed back. It just makes scence to have it in your collection for that price. It has an applied tooled finish, and there is /or must be a pontil mark - so I
would have purchased it. I think it should be worth twice that - in todays market - even if the economy sucks right now. RED Matthews.

I'd have dropped $30 on it-- thus being the second highest price I've spent on a bottle-- just because of its embossing.
