Hey all, this is my first post here! I have been digging in one spot for a while and have pulled
Almost 35 bottles to this point and this is the first bottle I am having trouble learning about and
Go figure its a coke bottle. It only has the logo on the body down near the bottom and then on
The actual bottom it has a "C" inside a diamond. It has no other information. I would appreciate if
Someone could tell me more about it and its rarity. Thanks!i

That's a nice find! It's a shame that it doesn't have a town embossed but it is still a collectible piece. The C inside diamond logo refers to the "Chattanooga Glass Co. ca. 1901-ca. 1913" according to this resource: http://www.sha.org/bottle/makersmarks.htm I'm not sure about the rarity or value, soda specialists oughta be able to help you with that, but I's figure it's worth at least 20-30 bucks. Since you dug (at least) one coke, there is a great chance that there are others lurking in your spot, hopefully ones with an embossed town too!

I would classify this one as uncommon. Iv seen them at my local antique mall go from 20-25$. If you find the right buyer you might even get 30$. Its a nice bottle and hopefully you find more of them! :)

I like it even without the city. It seems to have a longer neck than any of the ones I'm familiar with. Maybe I'm just looking at it wrong.

Thanks everyone for all the feedback!

It was dug in Charleston SC

What kind of picture would make it easier to see for you guys?

And how do I tell if it is tooled?

I am not so much into the coke bottles- most of the other bottles I have found are Charleston Brewing companies etc.

There should be two vertical seams on the bottle. Do they go all the way up the mouth, or do they stop on the shoulders/neck?
