Ocean Grove had its regular postcard yesterday. Luckily buried beneath one of my friends tables was a box of bottles. Picked up 3 local blobs, a Belmar milk, and THIS Embossed C.C Haley, Celebrated California Pop Beer, Newark NJ. The stopper was only used by C.C Haley and is extremely rare.

Thanks everyone! Cowseatmaize- Once I get a few hundred more Haley bottles I might have to resurrect the brewery! Although finding just one more of these is extremely unlikely.

I think I remember seeing a Stoneware Ginger beer of one of those & reading a article of the history of the company a few years ago. Interesting. LEON.

Great looking bottle. I like interesting closures as well. Looks like a variation on a loop seal or a Roorbach. Scott

cool bottle!! interesting HOW THEY USED California in the name of the beer to make it seem unique. Maybe all the way across the country at the time, California was an exotic place, as there are several products called California..........
