Light ice blue, BIM, pontiled and embossed PURATIVO NACIONAL, it can be either Spanish or Portuguese. In these languages it means or represents blood purifier. It's pretty delicate with a few pot stones and nice bubbles all over. The top is uneven but nicely hand finished and has a non-decorative handle. It doesn't appeared to have been dug and has zero wear. Is this some kind of a foreign repro?

Sorry it took me so long to post pics. I'm using an iPad and I had to go to the full version in order to be able to attach images. Maddening! I gave up the other day. Today I saw the little link that asks if you want to use the full version of the board and viola! There were the links for uploading. I'm a newbie.

It doesn't seam like something that would be faked but I also don't see it as a medicine. Maybe in an older Spanish or Italian it was National Purity or something, language does "evolve". Very nice, whatever it is.

Probably wasn't faked, but it reminds me of those virgin marry bottles or a holy water free blown. Kinda looks around 1930's to me. Does not remind me of a medicine but I am probably wrong.

it looks Mexican to me . what I think they did was make a mole from an older bottle and then embellish it with the reworked lip and handle . It's a nice piece just not old .

I'm going with sunrunner on this one. I have a couple of pieces of known new Mexican glass made to look old. They have the same basic shade of blue. Are there more than a few bubbles in the glass? It looks too "crisp and clean". Great window sun catcher. Scott

Thanks for the feedback. I like it because the embossing is in my native language, Spanish. I grew up in Panama so this bottle would have fit right in with my collection of bottles I dug when I was a kid.
