... from one of the best-known dairies in my town: Sanitary Dairy.And Briggs.
Sanitary Dairy of Muskegon was around from 1920 to 1964. Of all the milk shards I have found, most were to them. Of all the Muskegon milks I have seen up for sale anywhere, most were from them.Yet for some reason I could not obtain one that wasn't so over-priced-- so I just never did until today. Usually you see them in the big-sized pyro or the non-striped 1940s-1950s version, but this one I've never seen in a half-pint. It's likely common, but it's a very nice-looking bottle that I'm happy to add and am pretty sure is of good age.

Made by Thatcher Glass Company, which used the MTC mark from the '20s - early '50s. What I really like is that the letters not only go between vertical lines, but they also go over the vertical lines. Briggs was around from 1936 to 1965.

U G P CO 51 may be United Glass Products, 1930 - 1962, but that is not verifiable as their mark is just U G P. Back says, SEALED / 1417.
-A BETTER BOTTLE OF MILK it says on the mouth. Anyone have an idea on its age? REGISTERED is usually seen on older bottles, but I usually see embossed mouths on 1940s+. It's unique to me. Briggs is usually somewhat common, but I've only physically seen one in a private collection. I spent about $11 at the flea today. LOL.
