Never did figure out why everything seemed so jumbled up. Found the remains of barrel hoops on the edges though. The hole only went down a little more than six feet. Pulled out another 'Foord' squat. One for me and one for philajdh.

Detector was no help...way too much iron and other metal trash. We did give it a pretty thorough scratching through.CreekWalker said:

Great dig, love the blobs. It's a bit of a mystery why there was older stuff under them though. I couldn't see anyone leaving those great blobtops behind. Congrats.
