well I went out today to finish up the 1920s hole I had started last week . I no sooner started my dig when I started feeling tiny stings on my lag , it did not take me long to realize I was in a huge nest of fire ants ! Eoow ! any how , I had to find an other place to dig , so I knew of a other place down the rowed ,and this is what I came home with. From left to right , a white house vinegar , an Iodo tooth powder , a soda water from Cero cola , a Solomon's pharmacy ( the big one). a Peters beverages . And on the bottom roe is a Triloeds poison , and Capodine with some other od an ends .

Very nice dig. I love to dig 20's dumps mainly for the sodas. I remember 20 years ago, I could sell those blue triloids for $50, now they go for $10 - 20. Ebay has definitely hurt some bottles as far as value. RC

Great group of bottles! The fire ants inhabit the trash pits here. So most digging, is in the early spring and late fall,to early winter.

Nice digs, those are some good finds for the 1920s. I haven't had a fun dig for bottles after moving to Wyoming, and the one eroded creekbank dump that I found a few insignificant things in here got a dumptruck load of rocks poured on it, lol. I miss my 1920s Peoria dump. What town is the Solomon's pharmacy bottle from?

Poor some gasoline in a water bottle and go back to the dump. That gas will take core of the ants, I promise
