Duh, just read your post again, sorry. Was this found near where you live? Did it come out of an old dump where most everything was hand made, or did you find it along with some newer ABM items?

Yeah it looks way too small for ink. A dental product seems like a pretty likely option. I don't often see bottles this small, it would have to be something that you didn't need to use very much...
This fell out of an earth pile I was digging. I know, not rare and this one's broken, but it's the first I've found. There are so few bristle sockets that I zoomed on that part in an inset.
