My folks found these in their back yard while digging a garden a few years back. Got curious and started looking for information about them. In the information I found, it said that they haven't actually seen any examples of an Owens bottle using factory code 4.

"Plant No. 4The Clarksburg plant received the No.4 designation upon the closing of theWestlake factory in 1915 and remainedin operation until the 1929 merger withthe Illinois Glass Co. We have seen noexamples of “4” in the factory position"
Also found a C L Spiller Odouselaine bottle. It's amazing these things survived being discarded in the ground and the subsequent digging up. Should I plan some more backyard archeology this summer?
